Vitamin D: Sun
Today marks the end of the bitter, cold and ruthless Winter,and the entrance into the bright, warm and jovial Spring!
As the earth rotates ever so slowly, Sun, I WELCOME THEE!
Come and pervade our frosty island with your warming rays,
please don't forget about Melbourne!
I know the weather here is quite unpredictable...
But if you could let the Big Guy know, it would be greatly appreciated!
No longer will we have short, dark days...
Nor will we have to brave subzero temperatures,
equipped with scarves, gloves, jackets, hoodies and umbrellas.
I shan't miss the cold winter mornings, the thick fog that descends from above...
Instead, I amiably greet the long, bright sunny days,
And I hear ice cream is back in season!
Hello beaches! Ahoy there Lack of Stress!
Swimming pools, Ice Kachang, Sipping coconuts on a tropical island.
Ah. That's the life.
Oh, how I yearned for you..
And I'm so glad you've finally come.
